With over 35 years in the industry, Keven continues to serve the same client segment, implementing cutting-edge solutions to optimize costs, paperwork, and administrative time. His commitment is to better serve clients by providing the right coverage at the lowest cost.
Founder's Story
CHOMP Insurance Brokerage was founded by Keven Decker to challenge an insurance industry that's reducing the leverage of business owners.
After years of seeing businesses overpay for insurance and waste countless hours fighting paperwork, audits, and unclear advice, Keven set out to build something different. CHOMP was created with one clear mission: chomp down on excessive premiums, administrative drag, and the aggravation businesses face when dealing with insurance.
The name CHOMP is intentional. Inspired by the iconic University of Florida Gator celebration, it reflects a bold, aggressive approach that attacks inefficiency head-on and refuses to accept “that's just how insurance works.”
Inspired by his father's words, “You represent the client – not the insurance company,” Keven has fiercely represented his own clients for over 35 years, earning their long-term trust and saving them many millions of dollars in costs.
